B-Vent Fireplaces

B-Vent fireplaces are probably most similar in operation to a wood-burning unit in that it is open-faced and requires vertical venting through the roof for drafting. The smaller diameter B-Vent pipe does not have to extend to the height required for wood-burning units leaving a chimney short enough to avoid the need for an expensive chase or housing above the roof.

Efficiency

Like wood-burners, B-Vent fireplaces are not very efficient in operation, but our southern climate with warmer winters does not offer much benefit from efficient fireplaces.

Simplicity

The simplicity of operating this type of fireplace allows for immediate enjoyment for short or long burns with its light switch operation.

Please visit one of our showrooms to see a B-Vent fireplace burning for easy comparison to other gas units.
