Resource Bank announced that they will open a new location on Tchoupitoulas Street in the fall of 2023. The exact location of the new bank will be at Tchoupitoulas and Soniat Street where construction will begin soon. Resource Bank has been around the area for the last 25 years.
“As we continue to grow on the Southshore, our focus was finding the right location for our team to open another full-service branch. We believe this location positions us to grow our relationship banking services to better serve individuals and businesses in the community,” comments Paul Queyrouze, First SVP and Southshore Market Leader.
The opening of the new branch will also be a time the bank can celebrate its eight year anniversary in Orleans Parish. Currently, they have a location in New Orleans on Magazine Street that focuses on a long-term customer relationships. The bank’s other locations are in Baton Rouge, Bogalusa, Covington, Franklinton, Mandeville and Slidell.
The three-story building will be designed by VergesRome Architects and will be built by general contractor Donahue Favret Contractors. The space will also have around 7,500 square feet of professional office space for lease. The remainder of the building will house Resource Bank which will also include drive-up services, and a 24-hour ATM.
The building will also have a rooftop space that can be used rain or shine with a glass-enclosed conference room. The bank hosts business-to-business networking events, financial education seminars, meet and greets, and community-driven gatherings.
“As a relationship bank, we feel it’s essential to have a pleasant meeting space for consultations, closings, and networking. The rooftop is a wonderful nod to how the bank rises above and beyond for our clients,” says Queyrouze.
“Having brick-and-mortar locations still makes a lot of sense for us. We feel like there is still a market for the type of banking we provide. We still have that personal touch, and finding this location felt like a great match between our philosophy and the city of New Orleans. The river is the heartbeat of the community and continues to be a cornerstone of the economy. From this building, you’ll be able to see up and down the river and the New Orleans skyline. To us, it means longevity and stability. It represents what we stand for and how we are different,” explains Queyrouze.
