See-Through
This is a double-sided opening fireplace that you can see through two rooms or it can be seen through an exterior and an interior space. A tip is to make sure to use two fireplaces that are positioned back-to-back in tight-insulated homes.
Peninsula
This is a unique fireplace that only has a wall on one side. The three-sided fireplace gives you a nice view of the whole fire from front to back which creates a seamless flow. These are typically used in a large living space that adjoins a dining or entertainment room. Peninsula fireplaces are also perfect for a hotel lobby or a restaurant.
Corner-Open
A corner-open system can be seen from multiple angles of a room. This is done by leaving one of the side walls of the fireplace exposed. A homeowner can choose if they want both left and right corner openings. This is a great two-sided fireplace option.
Bay
The bay model has become very popular in the past couple of years and can customize linear fireplaces. Both sides of the walls are open due to the three-sided design which only displays the back wall of the fireplace.
